A Delhi based textbook publisher named 'Skyline Publications' published textbooks showing Jesus with tin beer and cigar and was blamed to have indulged in blasphemy.
Well what about the Education Board of that state (Meghalaya) was it sleeping? It is they who need to be pulled up.
The book has been used for primary classes and has caused a furore in the north-eastern state, where more than 70% of the population are Christians.
Wow! so yet again Jesus has been sullied, and his image maligned. Well! but look at the picture used. It is that of 'Sacred heart of Jesus' what more needs to be said of the perpetrator of this crime of publishing such a picture that he/she still believed in the 'Divine Mercy' in the 'Sacred Heart of Jesus' and the peaceful existence of his followers that he/she could take such liberties.
But need I warn the culprits of something called Divine Justice!
Assam, Orissa, Gujarat have seen it already! in the form of Floods, Earthquakes etc.
Now that you have been forewarned! and what luck we are in the Lenten Time!
A time specially set aside for repentance and cleansing.
And as the priest says while imposing the Ash on the forehead on Ash Wednesday!
Remember, O man, that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return.
—Genesis 3:19
Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.
—Mark 1:15
Repent, and hear the good news.
And heres something which should help you seek and gain forgiveness!—Genesis 3:19
Turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel.
—Mark 1:15
Repent, and hear the good news.
