At David mama's Souviner Gift Shop with Leston!

This what came into David Mama's compound with the rains on 23rd and 24th Night. Mudslide at Manipal - Savio villa

The gushing water sent the mud rushing such that it broke the compund wal and entered the compund from the front of the house and left breaking the compund wall at the back of the house.

See you cant make out which is the road and which is the compund wall and which is the aangan!

24th April 2010 Day 2 in Gaon

Went to Katapady with Santu Dhatu for his mobile battery charger.

On the way back met Yestu Maushi (Stella for the uninitiated) she said the evening Mass was offered by Asha Mami for the souls of my Grand Parents. So off we went to KuntalNagar Chruch to attend the 4.00pm Mass.

Ashok had come home to pick me up to take me to their house in kantingeri. Stayed the night there.
Dinner was Rice and Fish Curry (Courtesy Reshma)
The night saw the same chain of events as the previous night with more continuous Thunder.

23rd April 2010 - Day 1 in Gaon

23rd April 2010 - the the day (date) happened to be my Bhai N Bhabhi's Wedding Anniversary. So spent the day at Dendoor and also stayed the night there.
The pics are of the Swim in the nhain in the evening and the Gobi Manchurian Special outing to Sangam in Katapady after that.
